Okefenokee: Land of the Trembling Earth
Fire - a word that for many imagery of destruction come to mind, but for the swamps of Okefenokee it means life. In April 2012 just one lightening strike took away about 75% of the swamp. Without that destruction the swamp wouldn't be a swamp. Each fire that faces this swamp is part of its rebirth.
