A Chicago sunset...
It's crazy to think about that I've been here, in Chicago, for one year! Many great things have happened, but now to the next year with great things :)
Oh la la!
The theme for Group 312 Films for August is Oh la la! And here are some of the stills from what was filmed.

Oh la la has a double meaning.... in French its more of "oh my gosh!" or "oh my!" while in English, it was a more risqué meaning. I decided to play with that double meaning... meaning one thing but it can be another. Below is more of my thought process.

Currently doing a weekly/daily blog with a coworker! In which its a collaboration of photography, fashion, and writing. Check it out!
Also here are some snapshots of what we have come up so far:

The weather is getting warmer - which means longer to stay outside and some more timelapses <3

A short film that I've been helping with just finished with Day 1 of principle photography, here are some of the snaps that I was able to capture...

Now that the weather in Chicago is actually warming up, I've been starting to play with timelapses. Enjoy!
I created this gif after reading this article. The photos show an elderly couple and they take a photograph in front of their house for each season. The last photo is just heartbreaking. You see their garden in the process of growing and dying.

Nicholas Lawrence and Allison Bennett Dyche accepted the award on my behalf in New Orleans, LA.
At the ACP this year my Boston Marathon Timeline video has gotten two awards! The Multimedia Story of the Year (pictured above) and Best Viral Video.

Bad Business is a documentary about the growing acidity in water that in end effects coral reefs. Though coral reefs to people are mostly part of tourism, over time it can effect us in other ways. Though it has no direct impact with humans over time it will have an impact with the whole ecosystem.
